About
Matthew is a designer+data ecologist+educator for bioregional learning and regeneration. Through an approach rooted in place-sourced knowledge and play, he is interested in weaving relations and potentials between humans, more-than-human life, and landscapes to nurture inclusive and creatively-abundant cultures.

He is currently an adjunct professor at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and Northeasten University, and also mentors students in regeneration, design, and art at Polygence. Matt is member of ETH Zurich’s Designing Resilient Regenerative Systems group, Alma do Solo’s permaculture team, and TB21–Academy’s Ocean/UNI.

On the side, Matt likes to make music, photos, assemblages, and other things. From 2020 to 2022 he was mentored by Bradley Zero, founder of Rhythm Section International in London and DJ at NTS Radio. For teaching, 1 on 1 mentoring, collaboration, speaking, or just to say hi, please reach out at hello@mattbejtlich.com or drop in on my weekly open office hour (open to anyone).
